Mr. Bean participates in a running marathon across London where he starts a rivalry with another runner. When Bean cannot go on for the rest of the marathon, he along with the runner cheats the competition by riding a taxi and departing without paying a fare, causing the driver to chase them until the runner hits a post box, injuring him. Bean then continues to run but when he accidentally lets free of a dog, the dog chases and bites him upon reaching the finish line, resulting in Bean winning the race yet ending up in the hospital along with the runner. When Bean and his former rival-turned-friend are discharged from the hospital, the runner once again hits the post box while Bean walks away.
